Because Every Collection Deserves One More Coin.

Hi, I'm Scott, the person behind One More Coin.

I've always been a collector at heart. Growing up, I enjoyed collecting things like Pokémon cards and Pogs, and I've always had a habit of spotting things that are interesting, unusual, or simply look great and thinking, "I'd quite like one of those."

That's a big part of where One More Coin came from.

How It Started

One More Coin didn't start with a huge business plan. It started with an interest in collecting and a genuine appreciation for some of the designs I was coming across.

I've always liked the idea of having something physical that catches your eye — something you can put on a shelf, keep on your desk, add to a display, or simply pick up and look at.

When I started selling collectible coins, I quickly realised that I wasn't the only person who felt that way.

Some people were interested in the history behind a design. Others liked mythology, military themes, gothic artwork, poker, Vikings, fantasy, or unusual novelty pieces. And then there were people who simply saw a coin they liked and thought, "That's pretty cool."

Honestly, I'm probably in that last group more often than I'd like to admit.

Our catalogue covers a wide range of themes, including:

Some are serious. Some are meaningful. Some are strange. Some are just fun.

That's intentional.

Collecting doesn't have to fit into one particular category, and we don't think it should.

Why Coins?

There's something particularly satisfying about coins as collectibles.

They're small enough to collect without needing an entire room, detailed enough to be interesting, and every design can tell a completely different story.

You might find a coin inspired by an ancient civilisation, a piece featuring a Viking symbol, a gothic skull, a military event, or something completely ridiculous that simply makes you laugh.

And sometimes you don't need a deeper reason.

If you like the way it looks and want it in your collection, that's reason enough.

What We Sell

Our coins are modern collectible replicas, commemorative pieces and themed hobby items. They are made for people who enjoy the design, artwork and idea behind the piece rather than as traditional investment or bullion products.

They are not legal tender, government-issued currency, bullion or investment coins.

Traditional coin collecting can sometimes feel intimidating. There are grades, mint marks, rarity, valuations and a huge amount of knowledge to learn.

That's great if that's what you're looking for.

But collecting can also be much simpler.

You can collect because you like a particular theme. You can collect coins that remind you of something. You can build a display around a hobby. You can buy one as a gift. Or you can see something you like and decide that it belongs in your collection.

There doesn't have to be a complicated reason.

For us, the most important thing is that you enjoy what you collect.

Why One More Coin?

The name probably explains the idea better than anything else.

You find one you like.

Then you find another.

Then you notice one that would look great next to it.

Before you know it, you've started a collection.

That's the fun of collecting. There's always something else to discover, another theme to explore, or another piece that catches your eye.

Because every collection deserves one more coin.

A Little About Me

One More Coin is still very much a personal project.

I'm not interested in pretending that I'm some enormous traditional coin dealer with a vault full of rare treasure. I'm a collector at heart who enjoys finding interesting things and building a shop around the kinds of products I'd genuinely be tempted to buy myself.

That might be a beautifully detailed historical design.

It might be a Viking coin.

It might be a gothic Memento Mori piece.

Or it might be something completely silly that makes me think, "I actually really like that."

And that's exactly the sort of variety I want One More Coin to have.

Growing One More Coin

The catalogue is constantly growing, with new designs and themes being added as we discover things that we think collectors might enjoy.

We're also building the site into more than just a place to buy coins. Through our collecting blog, we're creating guides, stories and articles around the themes behind the coins — from mythology and history to Memento Mori, Memento Vivere and the many different reasons people collect.
