About the Design

Operation Desert Storm was the combat phase of the Gulf War, lasting from January 17 to February 28, 1991. The operation was launched by a U.S.-led coalition of 35 nations in response to Iraq's invasion and annexation of Kuwait in August 1990. The campaign began with a massive air offensive followed by a ground assault that liberated Kuwait in just 100 hours of ground combat.
